The Furry Flurry - March 2010

Bark to the Park is Less Than 3 Weeks Away!

Bark to the ParkIf you don’t already have Bark to the Park on your calendar, go put a big circle around April 17 right now!  We are going to have a great time and we want all our supporters and their pooches there having fun with us!

The day starts with a 1 mile fun walk for you and your four-legged friend. More than 300 folks are signed up so far.…and they’ve already been busy raising money to help our homeless pets here in the midlands. Want to join them for the walk? Be sure to pre-register right away. Your minimum $25 donation for the walk includes the $10 entry fee for the festival. Of course, if you raise or donate more, you can earn water bottles, t-shirts and other treats. Plus every bit of the proceeds will go directly to our mission of saving pets from death row right here in Columbia.

After the walk, there will be a full day of festivities including:
• South Carolina's LARGEST 1-day adoption event
• Low-cost microchipping clinic - JUST $20 PER DOG
• K9's in Flight Frisbee Show
• Flyball demonstrations and challenges
• Contests for you and your pooch
• Vendors galore
• Food by Blue Marlin, Liberty Taproom, McAlisters and Chick-fil-a!
• ....and much, much more!
